Very pleasant in all respects, gave full and thorough information both before and after my operation, had a good chat about Greenwich until the anaesthetic kicked in.

Dr uncles made me feel conformable.Explained everything he would be doing what he would be giving me and how it would make me feel after the procedure. He listened to any concerns I had and helped me understand them. Dr Uncles visited me after the procedure to see if I was ok and happy with what had been done.

I was a very nervous patient but was instantly put at ease by his bedside manner and the way that he explained the procedure to me which was going to be a spinal anaesthesia in terms that I could understand, and his caring attitude gave me complete trust in him. When I was waiting to go into theatre Dr David Uncles and his nurse were so caring I had no worries at all , I would highly recommend Dr Uncles to anyone.

Had some concerns after a previous operation, but Dr Uncles listened & reassured me & all went very well.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists.
